Survivor Guilt Empty Survivor Guilt

Post by Brianna Firestave Thu Jun 21, 2012 1:43 pm

Emile returned, he flashed a grin at Isaac while showing off his new prizes. The crossbow was a bit dulled from use, but was still better than the knives, the bolts that came with it were nice and sharp.

"Isaac, I got something for you!" Emile hefted in the typewriter and the ink canister. "We found this in the power plant. Isn't it a beauty?"

"Yeah yeah, nice...toy, Emile," Garulia said, rolling his eyes. The shotgun was a nice addition to his arsenal, and he was very proud of the find. It had tons of ammo with it, and that was great.

"Anyway, we got some power. And I'm sure one of you can make a run with a car to run a wire to the thing for a permanent solution. Your generator's in the truck outside, practically oozing electricity," he told the leader.

The leader blinked. "You guys actually survived? Well, you can stay here as long as you like! You saved us!"

Isaac looked up at Emile as he walked in carrying a typewriter and an ink canister. Between that and the zombies, he suddenly wanted to play Resident Evil. Standing up, he took the things and said, "Thanks Emile. How was your trip to the power plant?"

"Oh, nothing new, Isaac," Garulia informed him. "Just flesh eating zombies all over the place. We got new toys. I'm itching to try this baby out-" he hefted his shotgun "and I dropped a crate one zombie. It was fun!"

"Yeah, and I found that typewriter there". He glared at Gar, "It's not just a typewriter! It's a Smith-Corona Lightweight Typewriter".

The man from earlier looked up, "Is that my Emmy? It sounds like my Emmy."

Emile backed into a corner, trying to lose himself in the crowd of people.

Isaac laughed as Garulia told him about their trip, then said, "Sounds like it, though I do wonder why a power plant had a typewriter." Looking over at the man who had sighed before, he said, "Last time I checked, he preferred not to be called by that name. And you are?"

"Reid Stroh. You better not mess with me, buddy, I'm keeping my eyes on you". He snarled, a sound that no one ever thought possible from a human.

Emile hid behind Isaac instinctively.

Isaac nodded at Reid and said, "Isaac Black." Smiling politely at the man, nodded at him again...then punched him in the nose. As the hit landed, Isaac said in a voice like ice, "Also, I'm rather un-fond of posturing. And you don't have the right kind of attitude to be any one with skill. You bluster too much."

Reid held his nose, it bled a bit. "You motherfucker. You'll pay for that", again he snarled inhumanly. He lunged, but was pulled back by several other survivors.

Emile looked up at Isaac, "Thank you. That could have turned ugly."

Isaac waved a hand dismissively in Reid's direction saying, "Anytime." Looking back at Emile, he said, "No problem. I don't like people who try to posture and threaten others to get what they want."

Emile felt tears in his eyes, he got up and hugged Isaac, "I still owe you big time."

A brown haired woman spoke up, "Stroh's bark is worse than his bite." Her hazel eyes darted to Emile, "Don't worry, I'll keep him off you as well".

"You can't be serious! He's bigger than you!" A man beside her exclaimed.

"Brandon, I can break every bone in his body."

"Brianna! I wouldn't push your luck if I were you."

"If worse comes to worse, I have my vast arsenal."

Isaac awkwardly hugged Emile back, then disengaged as soon as possible. Looking over at the other two, he hefted the typewriter and said, "Ah, don't worry. If worst comes to worst, I'll type up a insulting paper about him."

Emile found himself staring at Isaac, his gaze hanging on until he had to break it off by turning his head.

Reid had calmed down, but was still bleeding. "Jeez, I just wanted to see my Emmy again".

"He's not a woman, dude", Brianna piped up again.

"You shut your fat mouth", Reid growled.

"I wonder if he could ever be nice to anyone", Brandon shrugged.

"It doesn't matter, he'll piss off the wrong person at the wrong time and he'll never speak again."

"Can we just let this go?" Emile squeaked.

"Well, I'll go get food then", Brianna grinned as she went outside with a gun in her hand.

Brandon had tears in his eyes. "I hope she returns safe".

Brandon sniffled, "Please do."

Emile snuggled next to Brandon, who was taken aback. "I'll keep him company while you go".

Garulia ignored the drama, checking and rechecking his new weapon, and at the end of it glanced over at his friends. "If you're done, what's our next move? Do either of you have a plan or should I come up with one as per the usual?"

Garulia nodded. "I'm in. Can't let a girl die, specially when she's got such a devoted young friend." He smiled at Brandon. "I'll keep an eye out for her, don'tcha worry one bit." He led the way out, glancing back at Isaac. "Let's roll, mah friend."

Survivor Guilt Empty Re: Survivor Guilt

Post by Christabelle Whittle Tue Jul 03, 2012 6:12 pm

Christy walked into the old gun shop. She was dirty from getting too close to a zombie walking along the streets when she shot them. Not knowing what was in there she held her gun in her hand, ready for anything to come out towards her that wasn't human. Her hair was falling down in some places, having done a fair bit of running and was the farthest thing in her mind at that point. Her whole point of leaving where she had been was food and water and so far she had found neither, not that she had been given the chance to at least.

Walking around looking in the gun shop she called out, "Hello? Is anyone in here?"

Emile looked up, back at Reid, then back at the girl. "I'm Emile".

Everyone else in the gun shop turned their heads towards Christy.

"Have you seen a girl with brown hair and hazel eyes?" Brandon asked wearily.

Reid smirked, "A chick with a gun."
