Re: Survivor Guilt
"That was the reason my mum and I came here." she replied. "Her excuse was she was leaving behind the life of sadness and she wanted to get me away from it. Wish she had never taken me from all I had ever known."

Re: Survivor Guilt
"I came here heat of the moment. I thought I could get a job here, and that all would be well. What a foolish fantasy". Emile sighed, then rummaged through a chest. He found a bottle of gin and started to drink.

"You know that'll kill you right there right?" she asked pointing to the bottle, "Slower than one of those things eating your face off. And I'm bloody Irish and saying that!"

"Not if you already have the hiccups like that." she replied, "You want to be able to think straight right now. Not have your mind muddled because of that rot gut whiskey you're drinking."

Re: Survivor Guilt
Emile blinked, "Not whiskey", then belched. He then passed out.

"See what I'm talking about!" she said looking over at Brandon. "How do you expect to survive when you live off of that stuff? If we got attacked right now, we'd be thoroughly screwed."

"I don't drink that", Brandon replied, "Just him and a couple others".

"I'm not touching it." she said looking around. "Take something else to drink if you have it. Alcohol isn't good for you."

"I'm not." She replied, "But does it really matter anymore? I'm not old enough to own a gun but I have one don't I?"

"Doesn't look like there is much." she sighed and ran her hands through her hair, "I mean does it?"

Re: Survivor Guilt
Trigger grinned as she saw two shapes come out of a nearby gunshop. Training her sights one of them, she got ready to pull the trigger and finish the undead she assumed she was aiming at. However, just before she fired, she noticed that it was too clean to be a zombie. Observing a bit more, she confirmed that it was in fact another human.
Standing up, she slung her sniper rifle back over her shoulder, and took the fire escape from the roof of the apartment building she was on back down to the street. Heading over to her motorcycle, she put the rifle in the holster she had mounted for it, then got on and drove to the gun shop.
On arrival at the shop, she entered and looked around, studying the people there.
